---Well I usually use the actors for the dialog condition and add aliases to get the quest markers working. Is anyone else having trouble making their aliases stick to actors? None of my dialogue works unless I assign it to the Actor himself. Assigning it to his Alias has no effect.

Window too tall[edit source]

I am one of those people noted at the bottom whose resolution will not fit the entire height of the window (For reference, my screen resolution is 1440x900). Following the suggested method to save changes and close the window works fine and is not an issue for me. However, I can't see the bottom of the window which makes me wonder how much I am unable to edit. When I drag it up as far as possible, I see the top of the words Combat Override Package List, which means there is at least one thing I cannot edit. Does anyone know of a method to change the size of the window? Also, could anyone tell me if there are any other editable fields at or below the level of the words Combat Override Package List? —NSejick 18:42, 25 February 2012 (EST)

I found this little utility that really does the job for me: http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/get-the-linux-altwindow-drag-functionality-in-windows/ It doesn't resize the window but allows you to move it with it's top outside the screen which is even better in my opinion. It works on Windows 7, I can successfully use it even on widescreen laptop with touch pad and no mouse.LukeH
There is nothing below that field other than the OK and cancel buttons, though the drop preview button is on the same level on the left.
If anyone experiences this on Windows 10 and is using a laptop, you can press Shift+Enter to "OK" the window.--Terra Nova2 (talk) 2016-08-06T15:57:08 (EDT)

External Alias will NOT fill from a created alias if it is in a container![edit source]

Persistence of Forced Refs[edit source]

Elsewhere I have seen the advice that it is better to point an alias to an object and then use that alias in your script, because once the alias is cleared and the quest stopped the alias reference is no longer persistent. If this is true, that information should be included here.Lofgren (talk) 2013-02-12T03:45:49 (EST)
