Signatures belong in talkEdit
I think this template is a bad idea. We have a policy to keep signatures away from articles because they imply ownership, which discourages others from editing. In this case it may not affect the entire article, but at least it affects the note itself. Everything that would be posted with this template can also be done with ProTip or InDepth. If it requires the author's signature then it's most likely a discussion; discussions belong on the talk page or on the Forums.
