OverviewEdit

Undo (CTRL+Z)Edit

Negates the last action taken in the render window. For example, an object that had just been moved will be returned to its prior location.

Redo (CTRL+Y)Edit

Re-applies an action undone with the Undo action.

Cut Render (CTRL+X)Edit

Removes any selected references from the render window.

Copy Render (CTRL+C)Edit

Copies any currently selected references in the render window. Note that relative position and orientation will be maintained.

Paste Render (CTRL+V)Edit

Pastes any previously copied reference (or multiple references) into the render window at the cursor's current position. All references copied into the window will be selected.

Paste in Place (CTRL+SHIFT+V)Edit

Pastes in any selected reference(s) at the position of the initial location copied from.

Duplicate (CTRL+D)Edit

Create a new version of any currently selected references in the same location as the original. The newly created reference is immediately selected.

Search & Replace (CTRL+F)Edit

Brings up the Search and Replace window

  • Search for: Drop-down listing all objects in the game. If a reference was selected in the render window, its base ID will be listed here.
  • Replace with: The base object ID to replace the reference with. If a reference was selected in the render window, the next item in the list alphabetically will be listed here.


  • Current World Only: Replace all objects in the currently loaded worldspace. Does not work in interiors.
  • Current Cell Only: Replace all objects in the current cell.
  • Selection Only: Only replace the current reference selected in the render window. Checked by default.

Note: Replaced references will retain any data attached.

Find TextEdit

Brings up the Text Search window.

  • Search Text: The text to search for.
    • Case-sensitive: Whether to consider the case of the text.

Shows a listing of all render window commands and their associated hotkeys

Render Window Picking Preferences (/)Edit

Allows the user to select what types of objects can be picked in the render window.
