Papyrus Equivalent?Edit

Is there a reason this console command does not have an equivalent in Papyrus? It's a little difficult to make the rotating autosave mod I'd like to make without the ability to name my save files... --Finalfrog 19:45, 21 February 2012 (EST)

I looked into this some time ago in hopes of making a Skyrim version of CASM, but it appears the closest equivalent is Game.RequestSave, which doesn't allow you to specify a name for the save.
It's a little disappointing that, now that we finally have string variables in scripts, we don't have this opportunity to use them, but we've never been able to do this right off the bat in scripts before - we've always needed script extenders - so I'm not too surprised that this is the case.

Script Dragon allows you to call console commands, which is what I tried using initially. But apparently calling the SaveGame console command from a script causes the game to lock up randomly. =/ --Finalfrog 21:25, 21 February 2012 (EST)
