SKSE Member of: ObjectReference Script

Returns the enchantment associated with this ObjectReference. (This function requires SKSE)

Syntax[edit | edit source]

Enchantment Function GetEnchantment() native

Parameters[edit | edit source]

none

Return Value[edit | edit source]

Examples[edit | edit source]

  • None

Notes[edit | edit source]

  • This is the only way to obtain player created enchantments. Items equipped on the player, with custom enchantments will return none if used with GetEnchantment - Armor. In order to get player created enchantments, this function must be used on the item outside of a container.
  • This function works with objects with multiple enchantments (possible with the extra effects perk) as the objects actually only contain one enchantment. The magic effects from the second enchantment are stacked onto the first.
