I tried using this event in ActiveMagicEffect script tied to an ability given by the perk but it doesn't fire where other events in same script work just fine. Maybe it doesn't work on player? Note clearly state that Actor events can be used in ActiveMagicEffect scripts.

State change on switch target

Does the combat state of the subject actor change when it switches between targets, or when it automatically finds a target in an instant that it killed its previous one? I mean, does it maintain an "In Combat" state when it continues fighting with multiple opponents, - or does it go "In Combat", then "Searching" for a millisecond, then back to "In Combat" when it finds another target? OnCombatStateChanged event seems not to fire if attached to the actor in riding mount.
