Acos - Math

Calculates the arccosine of the value it is given. The returned value is in degrees.

Syntax

float Function acos(float afValue) native global

Parameters

• afValue: The value to get the arccosine of. This value must be no greater than 1, and no less then -1.

Return Value

The arccosine of the passed-in value, in degrees.

Examples

float x = math.acos(0.0) ; x == 90
float y = math.acos(-1.0) ; y == 180
