Calculates the cosine of the value (in degrees) it is given.

Syntax

Parameters

• afValue: The value to get the cosine of, in degrees.

Return Value

The cosine of the passed-in value.

Examples

float x = math.cos(180) ; x == -1
float y = math.cos(90) ; y == 0
