In version 1.0 to 1.4 of the CK, it was possible to rename object references in the Cell View window. Around the time the Hot Loading functionality was added (1.5 to 1.6), it is no longer possible to change a references name in the Cell View window. Renaming the actual cell's reference id still works, but no changes under the Editor ID section will stick. When selecting a reference and hitting F2, it appears as if it will work but it will revert when enter is pressed or when it loses focus. Meaning each object to be renamed has to be Right-Clicked->Edit->Alter->OK->Confirm or it will not stick. Where it used to be F2/Slow Double-Click->Alter->Enter/Lose Focus

Does anyone know a workaround for this in 1.6 and later versions of the CK? Maybe there is a way to disable Hot Loading?
