I tried to edit Legate Adventus Caesennius to a Nord, named Legate Holfgar. He works fine as a replacement, but there is one problem - the skin color. The skin between the head and the body is unsynchronized, the head bears less color than the body. In Creation Kit, the preview looks as it should. Does anyone know how to resolve this issue? I'm having a slight problem with a few NPCs I created right now - I used the House of Clan Cruel-Sea (both interior and exterior) to make their house in Winterhold, I placed it just south of the Frozen Hearth. The NPCs never leave the house unless I wait at their destination, and instead of returning home, the walk straight past the house and out into the wilderness, sometimes they stop beside the road just outside the city, sometimes they walk all the way up to Fort Kastav. Has anybody experienced anything similar or know a fix? GetTheJojDone 16:17, 15 April 2012 (EDT)
I think it might be something wrong with the door, but I've checked and everything seems to be fine, they're both linked. GetTheJojDone 16:31, 15 April 2012 (EDT)
Please answer, I need to know. GetTheJojDone 07:00, 16 April 2012 (EDT)
- What are you using to move him there? A package, or simply linking him to a marker? --ElijahHouck 12:47, 16 April 2012 (EDT)
I used a package to move them, also, the first comment isn't mine. GetTheJojDone 18:58, 16 April 2012 (EDT)
Any idea what I could've done wrong? GetTheJojDone 12:21, 18 April 2012 (EDT)
Ah, I've seen one of the actors I made in Windhelm at night, that may mean that they are going to the House of Clan Cruel-Sea, instead of their house in Winterhold. But what can I do about it? GetTheJojDone 14:55, 18 April 2012 (EDT)
You might've guessed I'm new to modding. GetTheJojDone 11:40, 19 April 2012 (EDT)
Problems with preview window[edit source]
It seems that no matter what, the preview window will not update anything I change from the Face Tint Layers panel. For example, I selected Skin Tone, chose a Custom color, then picked bright cyan, but the preview's skin tone remained exactly the same. This also happened with everything else in the list. Everything outside this panel (hair color, base head parts, etc.) seem to work. I'm not sure how I can really design an NPC if I can't see what it's going to look like.
I thought maybe you have to add these other items to the Additional Face Parts panel, but there doesn't seem to be any way of doing this.
