::::::: Ok, so I'd like a confirmation. I've been testing through this now for eight hours. It seems like that FindClosestReferenceOfTypeFromRef, and respectively all other find functions, will work ONLY if the player is either arBaseObject/arCenter, OR if the player is inside the same cell of the Reference's/Form's that are called via FindClosestReferenceOfTypeFromRef.

::::::::I'm sure that guy gave up 9 years ago but, arCenter can be any reference to perform the search on. All the find functions that allow for a search to be performed on a reference have the same issue that if arBaseObject is the same base object as arCenter, arCenter is returned instead. Generally speaking they are all bad for finding actors. --[[User:TwilightSky|TwilightSky]] ([[User talk:TwilightSky|talk]]) 06:00, 31 August 2023 (EDT)
