Incorrect Parameter Names[edit source]
For 14 years, this wiki page has had parameter names "afLeftStrength" and "afRightStrength", however these parameter names did not match the Papyrus source code distributed with copies of the Creation Kit for Skyrim Special Edition. The parameter the page had listed as "afLeftStrength" should really be "afSmallMotorStrength", and "afRightStrength" should really be "afBigMotorStreangth".
It is entirely possible, however, that additional information was encoded in these non-canonical parameter names without being documented elsewhere on the page. For example, it's very possible that Bethesda hardcoded left and right in the game code. However, if the parameters really do apply based on small and large motor, the non-cannonical naming scheme would be innaccurate for some controller models—for example, an Xbox 1 controller has the large motor on the left, but the parameter for the parameter Bethesda labeled "BigMotor" was listed as "afRightStrength".
