Linking Navmeshes in the same WorldspaceEdit

This is the only place I can find that's closely-related enough to the problem I'm having. I have two separate navmeshes in the same worldspace and I need NPCs/Followers to follow me fluidly from one to another but instead they wander around the first navmesh looking for a way into the one I'm in (other than a properly linked, readily available load Load Door).

It's come to my attention that something available in Oblivion's version of the Creation Kit solved this. Something called a "subspace": which I'm pretty sure is something akin to a room marker used in optimization. But I don't think a room marker and its portals are meant to serve this purpose.

Anyway, if anyone knows what in the Creation Kit is the "subspace" marker equivalent, I'd love to read an addition to this discussion. If anyone knows another way around this, perhaps being able to indicate that a navmesh is a separate worldspace somehow, I'd really like to know what you've found.

Cheers!
